Calling all teenagers who display leadership qualities, the Youth Leadership Development Competition regional finals for 2018 is taking place this November.

The Youth Leadership Development Competition run by Rotary Ireland gives students a chance at preparing for their future career.

Winners will visit Belfast and meet with local politicians and business leaders, then travel to Dublin for further meetings with leaders in February 2019.

The highlight of the trip will be to debate a variety of motions in the European Parliament in Strasbourg at Euroscola.

There’s still time to submit your Nomination Forms to your co-ordinating teacher or school principal so act fast. A copy of the form can be downloaded here.

Interviews will be held in late October and the overall Naas Club Rotary winner will be put forward.

It should be noted that all entrants must be under eighteen years of age on 31st March 2019.
